One notetaker for every meeting

No bots

Nothing joins your meeting.

Chief captures from your device audio, so no notetaker bot appears in the call. Nothing for your guests to accept, nothing to install, nothing that makes the first two minutes about your software instead of the meeting.

  • No bot in the room, ever
  • Nothing for guests to accept or install
  • One setup, every meeting

Live prompts

A nudge when something is missing.

Chief follows the meeting as it happens and points out what you have not pinned down — a decision with no owner, an action with no date, a risk nobody wrote down. Quiet, on screen, and only when it matters.

  • Flags decisions with no owner
  • A checklist that fills itself as you talk
  • Works in English, Spanish, Portuguese & French

Live checklist

The checklist that ticks itself.

Decide once what every meeting has to answer — the decision made, the owner named, the next meeting booked — and Chief ticks them off while you talk. Whatever is still open on screen is the thing to raise next, while everyone is still in the room.

  • Must-answer questions, ticked off as you talk
  • Defined once — the same standard for every meeting
  • An open item is a prompt to ask, not a note for later

Every word kept

The transcript writes itself as they speak.

Every meeting is taken down word for word, speaker by speaker, while it happens. The notes are built from it — and when you need to check exactly what was agreed about the deadline, it is a search rather than a memory test.

  • A word-for-word record of every meeting
  • Check exactly what was said, whenever you need to

Honestly, the migration is the biggest risk — nobody owns it yet.

Priya14:06

Agreed. Who should pick it up once onboarding ships?

Sam14:18

I can take it until the new hire starts, then we hand it over.

Every platform

Works wherever the meeting is.

You do not always pick the platform. Chief captures the conversation whether it is on Zoom, Teams, Meet or Webex — and on a plain phone call — so there is nothing to reconfigure when someone sends a link from a different tool.

  • One notetaker across every meeting app
  • Nothing to set up per call

Made for the room, too.

Interviews, one-to-ones, workshops, site visits, user research — the conversations that usually get written up from memory in the car afterwards, if they get written up at all. Open Chief on your iPhone and they are captured like any other meeting.

Searchable

Every meeting, findable later.

Notes are only worth taking if you can find them again. Every conversation is written up the same way and kept in one place, so “what did we decide about the migration?” is a search rather than an hour of scrolling through three different documents.

  • One place for every meeting, searchable
  • Decisions and actions pulled out, not buried
  • Private by default — you choose what's shared

Follow-up email

The follow-up, drafted before you've left the meeting.

The recap is written while the conversation is still warm — the decisions made, the owners named, the dates agreed. It waits in your inbox as a draft you approve, so everyone reads the same version of the meeting without the evening admin.

  • References what was actually said
  • Puts decisions and owners in writing
  • Approved by you before anything sends

During the meeting, after it, and wherever it happens.

Chief works around the conversation, so every meeting ends with something written down.

During

Stay in the conversation

No bot, no typing, no “one sec while I write that down.” Chief has it — and points out what you still have not pinned down.

After

Walk away done

Clean notes, decisions and actions with owners, follow-up drafted — before you are back at your desk.

Everywhere

Every conversation counts

Zoom, Teams, a phone call or a room — every meeting gets the same clean write-up, in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French.

Every conversation — any platform, any language, in person — turned into notes, decisions and actions. Automatically.

FAQ

Does it really work without a bot?

Yes. Chief captures from your device audio, so nothing joins the meeting. There is no bot for you or your guests to admit, and it keeps working when a company blocks external recorders.

Which meeting platforms are supported?

All of them — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and phone calls. Chief does not rely on a per-platform integration, so you use one notetaker for every conversation, whichever tool someone else picked.

Can it capture in-person meetings?

Yes. Open Chief on your iPhone for interviews, one-to-ones, workshops and site visits, and get the same structured notes and actions as a video call.

What happens after the meeting?

The write-up happens on its own: structured notes with decisions and action items, and a follow-up email drafted in your own inbox — you approve it before anything is sent. Meetings end with the admin already done.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, your conversations are never used to train third-party models, and you choose what gets shared. Enterprise plans add further security controls and SSO.
