Our Service

Chief Jones Ltd provides AI-powered meeting intelligence software ("Chief"). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use Chief for your internal business purposes during your subscription.

Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chief. You're responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure
• All activity under your account
• Ensuring your use complies with your organization's policies
• Providing accurate account information

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Chief for illegal purposes or to violate others' rights
• Attempt to breach our security or access others' data
• Reverse engineer or copy Chief's functionality
• Resell or redistribute access to Chief
• Use Chief to process sensitive personal data without appropriate safeguards

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you process through Chief. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide our service. You're responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you process.

Payment

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Prices may change with notice. We use third-party payment processors and don't store card details. Refunds are at our discretion, except where legally required.

Service Availability

We aim for reliable service but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.

Intellectual Property

Chief and its original content remain our property. We respect others' intellectual property and expect you to do the same.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Chief is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability won't exceed what you paid us in the past 12 months

Indemnity

You'll defend us against claims arising from your use of Chief, your content, or your breach of these terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate with notice. We may suspend access immediately for breaches. Upon termination, your right to use Chief ends, but terms that should survive will continue.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in English courts, though we prefer to resolve issues directly with you first.

General

These terms represent the core agreement for using Chief. If any part is invalid, the rest continues.
